So, I've done two posts already about what I hoped would happen at Wrestlemaina this year, and now, here's the after show thoughts.
Well, the pre-show blew dog backwards. One full hour and it was nothing but a recap with a very sad 4 minute match between Wade Barrett and The Miz. This should have been a star attraction match, should have been on the main show and longer.
Miz made Barrett tap to win the title. That was a massive misplay of what should have been a big match. With a full hour, or even a half hour time limit they could have done so much more with the whole thing, like 2 out of 3 falls or something. But, no they totally mishandled it.
The Shield vs Show/Orton/Sheamus. The Shield won! I was enjoying that match a lot. Still, I thought it was a bit of a short match, even though it ran about 20 minutes. Ambrose getting the pin over Orton was brilliant. I was hanging out on GetGlue throughout the night, chatting with other fans, and people were taking bets on who would make a heel turn, I really thought Sheamus was going to. (When Big Show ripped the clothes off of The Shield, straight women and gay men everywhere were cheering.)
Ryback vs Mark Henry. Well, Henry won, but Ryback had to have the last word. One of the fans I was talking to, made the comment that Ryback's outfit made him look like an overgrown Teenaged Mutant Ninja Turtle...damn they said it before I could.
Team Hell No vs Dolph Ziggler/Big E. Okay, I was wrong on this, Hell No won, I didn't think they would. And no one bothered to get Big E any pants or even a towel.
Fandango vs Jericho...well, this was a pointless match. We pretty much knew that Fandango was going to get this one, but it just wasn't a strong match at all.
Alberto Del Rio vs Swagger. Okay, so this was a match that I'm still wondering why creative went with the whole storyline? I'm glad Del Rio won.
CM Punk vs Undertaker... BITE ME! I was not happy with the outcome of this match. I really thought that Punk was going to win this, I really wanted Punk to win this. So the Undertaker won and this would have been a really good point for the Shield to have run out, but no they didn't. I was literally throwing cheesies at the tv screen. (mmmm cheesies, salty cheesy junk food-y goodness)
Brock vs Triple H. Triple H coming out of the back, he had some sort of white stuff on him, and I'm just wondering, what was that? Baby powder? Snow? Cocaine? What the hell was that stuff? Triple H won this, like we didn't see that coming a mile away.
Cena vs Rock. I've stated I really don't care for either. It was a full on split with the fans I was talking to on GetGlue, and even here in my family. (mom was cheering for Cena) Cena got the win and the title here. Which I'm sure is setting up for Ziggler to cash in his MIB case.
They seemed to have left out the Tensi/Clay vs Rhodes Scholars match... one fan on GetGlue brought that up about five times. I didn't notice till they mentioned it.
Over all, I would say this really did not need to be a 4 hour show. It could have been handled better and in about 3 hours. There have actually been better episodes of Smackdown then what Wrestlemaina was tonight.
Till Later- Love Ardeth Blood

What I'd like to see at Wrestlemaina part 2
Few weeks ago, I wrote a post with some of the things I would like to see happen at the ppv tomorrow night.
I guess I need to update since the schedule has been updated.
Wade Barrett vs the Miz.... I'm going for Barrett all the way, cause everyone knows I'm a big fan of his. Just hope he wears the red trunks, cause I like the red trunks. Barrett needs this win, needs to keep the Intercontinental Championship for another few months. I want to see him then go on to get the Heavyweight Championship.
the mixed tag of with The Rhodes Scholars vs Clay/Tensi. First of all, I refuse to call Clay and Tensi by the name that they are listed as. Normally, I would be hoping to see Rhodes Scholars come out on top, but I really don't care about this match at all.
Jericho vs Fandango... I can see Fandango getting the win here. But this match has got me scratching my skull wondering why it's even on the list? Why is Johnny Curtis still pulling on this character's pants? Is it going to come out that he fell and hit his skull and is having a split personality or something? (like they are doing on Bold and the Beautiful with Caroline?) cause that would be a good story, much better then this stupid name game thing.
Del Rio vs Swagger. I already commented on this on the other post.
Tag Team champs, Hell No vs Ziggler/Big E. I want to see someone give Big E a pair of pants, or a kilt or something, cause, damn there are children watching and that dude should not be running around in shorts that short. I predict the fall of Hell No. Not because I want to see them end, but because that's what I figure will happen.
Ryback vs Mark Henry. Again, a match I don't care about. I'm sick and tired of Ryback, so I'm going with the idea that Mark Henry will win, or better yet, the Wyatt Family from NXT will come down and disrupt it. That would rock.
C.M Punk vs Undertaker. I've already commented on this on the other post.
Rock vs Cena. I've already commented on this on the other post.
Triple H vs Brock. As I mentioned in the comment section of the other post, don't care. But I'm sure Triple H will win.
Sheamus/Orton/Show vs the Shield. As I commented on the other post and it's comment section, this is the only reason I'm actually getting the pay-per-view tomorrow night. I think the best thing that the Shield can do, is isolate Sheamus and Orton, not letting Big Show even get into the match. Have Dean Ambrose square off more with Sheamus, cause we know he can handle it, and have Seth Rollins square off more with Randy Orton in submissions, and use his speed/flight ability. Using Roman Reigns only when totally necessary. Using sure brute force on this isn't what the Shield need to do, they need to be smarter. The Shield need to win this ppv.
I also stated that I'd like to see some more NXT guys on the ppv.
Okay, that's about it for the night, I'll be back after the whole thing with comments and thoughts. Until then... Love Ardeth Blood

Can we talk about....
I used screen capture for this post
Johnny Curtis for a moment?
I mean man, what's not to dig here? A hot wrestler who has been doing a gimmick with food for the last month. First he was crying over spilled milk, then he had a chip on his shoulder, and now says "you didn't cut the mustard"
Dude! I love this!
Yeah, there was an interruption with a joke about an ace in the hole, but we'll bypass that and just go with the flow.
It's got me wondering and giggling, about what his character will be like when they finally let him on air on Smackdown? It looks to me like he's going to have an easier time establishing himself as a Face {though I think he'd have major fan backing as a Heel too} then some of the other guys on air right now. I would love to see him in a feud with Sheamus or Wade Barrett.
Hey, anyone know what happened to Husky Harris?
As you can see, I have a sort of screen shot, sort of photo here. It's actually a photo of the television. Which I suppose makes it a screen shot? You can see the Score's headlines running at the bottom of the photo, I left it in on purpose. This is why, to answer the one email I got, I do not have shots of WWE stuff compared to TNA/Impact. Impact, I watch online, WWE, I watch on tv. {I do not have cable, and my mom who puts up with me watching stuff at her house only has basic cable which means no Spike} So my Spudguns, you know my dirty little secret.

My predictions for WWE NXT Season 5
I've been following Season 5 of NXT but not reviewing it. For the simple fact, it's been a bit of a time waster.
The idea this season, to let 6 Rookies earn a spot on season 6.
Yeah, they are not even fighting for a chance to be on Smackdown or Raw but to be the star of the next season. How stupid is that?
The upside, they get to pick their Pro in season 6.
The show is down to 3 Rookies. It started off this season by chancing it's name to NXT Redemption. Okay, I get that. And we saw the return of Conor O'Brian, Byron Saxton, Darren Young, Jacob Novak, Titus O'Neil and Lucky Cannon.
The remaining Rookies are Conor O'Brian, Darren Young and Titus O'Neil.
Jacob Novak's biggest weakness was not having a proper identity. They tried pairing him up with JTG and feuding him with William Regal, but even Regal could not keep Novak on air. He was the first eliminated.
Byron Saxton had been teamed up with Yoshi Tatsu. Which also failed to bring forth anything solid from Saxton in the identity area. It was painful to think that had the creative team stepped in with something better then having him slighted over Tatsu's distractions, Saxton might still be on air. But he was the next to be eliminated.
Lucky Cannon was teamed up with Tyson Kidd. He just got eliminated. Putting him squarely as a Heel was a brilliant move, as I could never look at him and think Face. Sorry, but if Lucky Cannon ever pops up on my screen again, I damn sure hope it's with about 5 inches of that stringy hair gone. { he just makes me think of Wickham from Pride and Prejudice not a good thing }
Titus O'Neil is teamed up with Hornswaggle. And it's truly his only saving grace. Brilliant move, as he's got the in house crowds full attention. Let's face it, and as much as I hate to say it, he's going to win. Not on talent, but on the fact his Pro is an over the top character.
Darren Young is teamed up with Chavo. Another brilliant move here. Young has already established himself from being part of Nexus last year, as a Heel. Teaming him with one of the heeliest of the classic Heels puts him in a solid spot in people's minds. The talent is there, the ring awareness is there, and now he's got a proper identity to cling to.
Conor O'Brian is teamed with Kozlov. Another brilliant move. He's dropped the extreme gimmicks and just seems to be having a chance to show more of his talents in the ring. I also like this version of his character because it's one that can establish him as either Face or Heel without too much of a shock down the road. I think it would give him enough fan backing to carry him through to land him on Smackdown. Just think of the feuds he could easily fit into if he were to make it. {against Wade Barrett, against Sheamus, against Johnny Curtis} The announce team keeps commenting each week how O'Brian has been able to physically prepare himself since teaming with Kozlov. They would make a fabulous tag team if the voters bother to go on talent and actually look at the win/lose side of things.
What I would like to see happen: I would like to see Conor O'Brian get a contract for Smackdown.
What I believe will happen: I believe that Titus O'Neil will get the season 6 pass by having been on Hornswaggle's coattails.
I'm not too sure if there are two episodes or only one left.

NXT for March 3rd 2011
This was the season 4 finale.
Really, I suppose I should not find it a surprise at all that Johnny Curtis and Brodus Clay were the last two standing, as they have been building a feud between them since day one.
We open with a recap of the full season. Hey, is Conor O'Brian still under the ring? When he got eliminated he went under the ring....
Then both our remaining Rookies had a bit of a face to face in the ring. And I have to say that Clay's mic skills have improved greatly since the first episode.
This lead right into the first match of the night. Brodus Clay got the win.
Josh Mathews said that Derrick Bateman would be on the show later... Why? He got tossed this is not Top Chef, contestants are not suppose to come back once they are tossed.
Bateman was part of a Rookie Reunion Tag Match... I was shaking my head on this one until.... the return of Conor O'Brian okay that answered my question from twenty minutes ago and made me happy.
So Match #2 was between Derrick Bateman/Conor O'Brian vs Jacob Novak/Byron Saxton. Novak bailed leaving his partner to the wolves and Bateman got the win.
The Winner for Season 4 of NXT = Johnny Curtis.
Next week Season 5 starts, and all the announce team said was it will be different from what we've seen so far. I'm thinking, since so many of the superstars as of late have been "fired" that maybe they are going to make them fight for their jobs back? Settle down, I'm just guessing here.
Looks like the Score here in Canada will be airing Season 5 once again on Thursday nights at 9pm EST

NXT for the week of Feb 24th 2011
We opened with the three remaining Rookies all being told by their Pros that they were on their own this week. Not one single Pro was in the area.
This moved nicely into the first Challenge, the Grace Under Pressure.
Each Rookie had to run around the ring, doing a selection of odd motor skill related tasks from picking up dice with chop sticks to stacking wooden blocks.
- Johnny Curtis clocked in at 1minute 19 seconds
- Brodus Clay clocked in at 1m 46s
- Derrick Bateman clocked in at 1m 43 s
The only match this week was a triple threat between all the Rookies. Johnny Curtis got the win
The second Challenge was the Talk the Talk. The Rookies had 30 seconds or so on the mic to tell the crowd why they should be the next break out star.
Brodus Clay got the win on this one. That earned him 3 points. I think the fact it was his home town gave an advantage to him.
This was an Elimination week. Derrick Bateman was eliminated.
Next week is the final episode for this season of NXT, for the two remaining Rookies, Johnny Curtis and Brodus Clay
I've been saying since the beginning that my money is on Johnny Curtis, let's see if I'm right.
Remember, in Canada it airs on the Score on Thursday nights.
Sunday, February 20, 2011
NXT for the week of Feb 17th 2011
I missed the show last week because of a scheduling issue. But I see that Byron Saxton was eliminated.
This leaves, Johnny Curtis, Brodus Clay and Derrick Bateman.
We opened with more crap from Derrick Bateman. Seriously, I do not understand why this guy is the resident comedy routine?
This week's first challenge was the Smash and Grab. The three Rookies had to hit a pinata and scoop up the cash then run it up the ramp to their Pro. Blindfolded.
- Johnny Curtis = 0
- Brodus Clay = $4800
- Derrick Bateman = was DQed for removing the blindfold.
And the part of the big evil this week was played by Josh Mattews. As he proceded to tell Todd Grisham that he was not funny.
Match #1- Brodus Clay vs R-Truth with Clay getting the win
Challenge #2 this week was something straight off of the old hit Canadian show "You can't do that on Television" it was called Save Yourself Triva. Each Rookie had to answer as many questions as he could right, in order to keep himself from getting slimed. Which, would have worked better if Matt Striker had learned to speed up his questions, as they barely got through one category. Which, by the by, whoever was running the categories screwed up by putting the wrong question in the wrong grouping.
- Johnny Curtis= 0
- Brodus Clay= 2
- Derrick Bateman= 1
Match #2- Bateman vs Daniel Bryan. Bryan got the win on this.
The Pros were playing their own round of open mic night during this match, which was more interesting then the match for the first few minutes. Actually, whenever the Prods play open mic night it's more interesting.
Next week is another Elimination. And there are only two episodes left of the season.

NXT for the week of Feb 3rd 2011
First off, I have to say we had a bit of a weather issue here so there were tech issues for me.
Brodus Clay came out with Ricardo Rodriguez to the ring as his stand in Pro this week. I guess Albert Del Rio was busy taping this week's Smackdown or something.
Right off, the first Challenge was arm wrestling worth 3 points
Match #1 was Chris Masters vs Byron Saxton. Masters won with his trademark MastersLock
I swear that Josh Mathews does not look at his production notes ever. He spent the entire match asking if this was an Elimination week or not. And Todd Grisham was not paying much more attention, as he called out "there's a pin" when it was a Standing MastersLock.
Match #2 was Brodus Clay vs DiBiase. Brodus Clay got the win on this one.
Both Mathews and Grisham were doing a good amount of comedy and at one point even admitted that it was "an attempt at bad comedy"
While, the whole match I think it was Dolph Ziggler doing random commentary from the ramp. If you're going to give him a live mic, then just add him to the seating up with Josh Mathews and Todd Grisham.
The 2nd Challenge of the night was the Talk the Talk and worth 2 points
Match #3 was a tag match between Daniel Bryan/Derrick Bateman vs R-Truth/Johnny Curtis. Daniel Bryan managed to get the win over Curtis
Which is something that the announce team hinted at on this episode, that even though the U.S. gets the show online on the website, outside of the U.S. the rest of the world still gets it on our selected sports networks, so yes there are ratings.

- Johnny Curtis went up against Bryon Saxton - Curtis won this round

- Byron Saxton had to talk about R-Truth
- Derrick Bateman had to talk about Dolph Ziggler - He ended up having the rest of the Pros and the crowd repeating him for a few minutes
- Johnny Curtis had to talk about Chris Masters - BUT decided to taunt Brodus Clay instead and then run out of the ring to stand beside the announce team
- Brodus Clay had to talk about Daniel Bryan
Match #3 was a tag match between Daniel Bryan/Derrick Bateman vs R-Truth/Johnny Curtis. Daniel Bryan managed to get the win over Curtis
Next week is Eliminations
Don't forget, Canada now gets NXT on Thursdays at 9pm on the Score. NXT for the Week of Jan 27th 2011
We open with a bit of a soap opera admitting that yes, Derrick Bateman did cheat last week. See, I told you.
This then moved swiftly into their first challenge of the night. Out Think the Fink. Each Rookie had 30 seconds, other then Bateman who only had 20 seconds, to get more points then the Fink in a trivia game.
Seriously, only giving him 20 seconds isn't much of anything. He shouldn't have been allowed to part take in this round at all. Mind you, no one could get many answers given Matt Striker was so frealing slow on the mic.
Match #1 was DiBiase vs Daniel Bryan. DiBiase won this one. I know I'm amazed too.
Match #2 of the night was a fatal four way elimination match. It also happened to be the second challenge of the night. The winner could switch out his Pro if he wanted to.
Fine choice if I do say so myself. I'm still pissed about Conor O'Brian having been voted out the other week. I'll not forgive anyone for that one.

NXT for the week of Jan 20th 2011
This was an elimination week.
We open with a weird recap of the last few weeks of both Smackdown and Raw Rookie storylines because of it being and elimination week.
The challenge this week was How Well Do You Know Your Pro?
Which was suppose to be worth 4 points.
- Johnny Curtis = 0
- Byron Saxton = 0
- Derrick Bateman= 3
- Conor' OBrian= 0
- Brodus Clay = 2
Josh Mathews was asking Todd Grisham about the show tonight, when he had his production notes in front of him. Grishamn pointed that out to him. Makes you wonder if they were just killing time or if the script got changed and no one updated Josh's copy?
Match #1 was Saxton vs Chris Masters. Masters won this with his Master's Lock
Match #2 was a tag match between DiBiase/Clay vs Daniel Bryan/Bateman. Clay left his pro to suffer letting Bateman get the win.
Match #3 was Conor OBrian vs Ricardo Rodriguez. Yes, you read that right. Alberto Del Rio's Rookie vs Alberto Del Rio's sidekick. Rodrieguez won. WHAT?????? How did that happen?
Actually, it was a funny two minutes, that served it's purpose. It gave all 3 men some extra air time, was an extra match for the show and helped to introduce Rodriguez to the ring.
Then Elimination was up. Derrick Bateman had immunity this time around.
I seriously don't understand that one. He's got the talent and the mic skills. From the way they've been using him on Smackdown and with the whole feud against Rodriguez, I thought for sure he was going to be in the top two. I'm not happy at all. Bring him back damn it!!!
Friday, January 14, 2011
NXT for the week of Jan 13th 2011
We opened with another of the Rookie challenges. The Slingshot challenge. The Pros stood in the ring and had to use an 8 foot slingshot to shoot balled up tee shirts to their Rookies, who would catch them.
- Johnny Curtis = 0
- Bryon Saxton = 1
- Derrick Bateman= 2
- Brodus Clay = 0
- Conor O'Brian = 1
Match #1 was Bryon Saxton vs Conor O'Brian. O'Brian got the win.
Wow, Dolph Ziggler came to the ring wearing... jeans and a sweater. Damn, he's hot in clothes. I know odd thing to say, but when you see these wrestlers all the time in their gear, seeing them in actual clothes is a ... well the same effect that you would have from seeing an average guy in clothes all the time then naked...
Second challenge was the Superstar Password. Each Rookie had to get their Pro to say the name of another Superstar without using key words.... dude the challenges on today's show were more lame then usual.
- Johnny Curtis got 2 points
- Byron Saxton got 2 points
- Derrick Bateman got 3 points
- Brodus Clay got 1 point
- Conor O'Brian got 1 point
Bateman won this round as well.
Match #2- Johnny Curtis vs DiBiase. Curtis took the win.
Next week is the second round of eliminations. I have to say too, that I am thinking Conor O'Brian must be doing better then most, as I'm loving the storyline that's happening with him.
My prediction is that ...Brodus Clay will be the next to go. Let's see if I'm right.

NXT for the week of Jan 5th 2011
This was the first week of eliminations.
So they announced right off the top that the title this time around that the winner of NXT 4 will be allowed to go for is the Tag Team belts, and that Rookie will be doing so with the Pro that taught them.
I understand that they are trying to prove me wrong (this post here) but I'm not too sure that; that is the way to do it.
The first match was an over the top battle royal where the Pro who wins may trade their Rookie if they feel the need. That's interesting.... And double or nothing it would seem as Alberto Del Rio's spot was taken by his personal ring announcer... and was the first one out of the ring.
Daniel Bryan was the next to be tossed out of the ring.
R-Truth was the next to be tossed out of the ring.
Both DiBiase and Chris Masters were tossed at the same time. Dolph Ziggler wins the battle.
And Ziggler did the smart thing, Trading Jacob Novak for Bryon Saxton...
Match 2 was Jacob Novak (now with Chris Masters) vs Bryon Saxton (now with Dolph Ziggler) and the new Pros in their corner. Saxton got the win.
The first challenge of the night was a mic battle.
- Johnny Curtis had to battle against Brodus Clay. Clay sucked so bad he was booed by the entire audience and dude... I could have done better. There was no real thought to his jibs, no rhythm, no style. Curtis was a bit quicker on the thinking but still lacked something. Then Curtis punched Clay in the face. NICE! Brodus Clay was sent to the locker room and Johnny Curtis moved to the next round.
- Derrick Bateman had to battle against Bryon Saxton. Bateman was fairly quick, not really all that funny, but he managed to put in one zinger. Byron Saxton ... um dude yeah... The crowd response was fairly even. Byron Saxton was sent to the locker room and Derrick Bateman went to the next round.
- Jacob Novak battled against Conor O'Brain. The second that Novak picked up the mic he was drowned out by the crowd booing him... and I agree with the crowd on this one. Conor O'Brian went for it, comedy, quick witted, and got the biggest pop so far in this from the crowd. Jacob Novak went to the locker room and Conor O'Brian went to the next round.
- Johnny Curtis had to insult both and made the hair dis...and didn't have any time left over to battle O'Brian. Derrick Bateman was up next and did a crap job. Conor O'Brian was last and went for the comedy again which was different and caused the other two rookies to have to take a double take. Which is a good thing, it means he'd be able to get into the heads of everyone. The crowd was only slightly louder for O'Brian giving him the win in this and 4 points.
Match 3 was Johnny Curtis vs Brodus Clay. Clay got a win.
The 1st elimination of the season was up and Jacob Novak was the first to be tossed from NXT.
Thank god.
The next elimination will be in two weeks, and all the points the Rookies have earned will at that time be reset and they will start fresh at zero.

My Views on WWE NXT for the week of Dec 29th 2010
We opened with the return of R-Truth and Johnny Curtis his Rookie coming to the ring dancing. Which, we would find to be a foreshadow of things Johnny Curtis would ... try to do later in the show.
Curtis had a match against Dolph Ziggler in a Rookie vs Pro match. Curtis looked at one point like he had the match wrapped up but he took too long on the top turnbuckle and it cost him giving Ziggler the win.
Second match was Derrick Bateman vs Conor O'Brian (yes I spelled it wrong the other week) Bateman comes across sloppy in his moves. Conor O'Brian won and looked extremely impressive, very smart with the dragging on the arm from outside the ring. I think the mix of O'Brian with Del Rio is a brilliant move, as Del Rio himself is one of the strongest in ring personalities going in any company right now.
This week's first challenge was the power punch. While Matt Striker was explaining the rules, he had to scold Bateman and Curtis for goofing around and he did it without missing a breath. Gotta love Matt Striker. The idea was to not just get the highest score BUT to beat the record -of 896- that was set by Bore-Spore Alex Riley back in season 2, in order to get a bonus point; which no one was able to do.
- Bateman had 750 score
- Curtis had 814 score and in the lead
- Byron Saxton had a 625 score
- O'Brian had a 531 score
- Jacob Novak had a 721 score
- Brodus Clay had a 636 score
Josh Mathews was playing the angry announcer this week with a side order of disgust. Hey, isn't that my theme?
Byron Saxton then went up against DiBiase in another Rookie vs Pro match. Something happened with the audio crew during this match as the boom mic picked up in volume and the announce team lost sound for a bit. Brodus Clay who is DiBiase's Rookie, made a mess of things casting the match for DiBiase. Saxton got the win by a dq.
The second challenge was a talent show... um... dude...seriously WHY??????? this was just a painful painful ten minutes. They did not take it seriously and the announce team all three of them, Striker, Mathews and Todd Grisham were shaking their heads in disgust.
- Derrick Bateman said he was going to do a poem... um all you did was make me want to rip out my eyes and ears
- Johnny Curtis said he was going to dance.... um he forgot to use the fairy dust before hand, but he did bring a yellow ribbon.... was he going for the laughs cause if he was he missed it by like five miles- he continued to play with his ribbon in the dark behind the others for the next few minutes. Yes hinting at a few dirty jokes here
- Byron Saxton threw a preppy sweater over his shoulders and started to read a ... fairy tale. Oh my god please shut up! Just shut up. Everyone booed him. Matt Striker had to rip the microphone out of his hand after the buzzer went off.
- Conor O'Brian tried to tell jokes. The voice was good, the material not so much. BUT if it was an impression of Andrew Dice Clay ... still off the mark by a mile.
- Jacob Novak... vogued and posed for the crowd. I am still tasting the vomit. People were throwing clothes at him wanting him to cover it up.
- Brodus Clay tried to do the impossible by making Micheal Cole look cool. Dude, little hint, the Goddess herself could not make Cole look cool if she froze him in ice for all eternity.
Then a brawl started and Clay destroyed everyone.
Voting opened this week and Yes I voted...

My Views on WWE NXT for the week of Dec 22th 2010
We had the wheel barrow race this week, with the added weight of the Eagle.
- Johnny Curtis - he started off too quick on the draw insert dirty joke here but was given a second shot and ran it in 13.0 seconds
- Jacob Novak - 12.8 seconds
- Brodus Clay - 13.8 seconds with the Eagle falling out
- Coner O'Brian - 12.7 seconds
- Bryon Saxton - 12.5 seconds
- Derrick Bateman - 12.5 seconds
- Bryon Saxton - 13.1 seconds dropping the Eagle
- Derrick Bateman - 12.0 seconds again causing the Eagle to fall out. Bateman got the win
First match of the night was between Jacob Novak and Johnny Curtis. Note* Because of an injury R-Truth who had been Curtis' Pro has been replaced it seems by JTG*
Novak got the win with a cheap shot.
We then went into a round of Hot Seat Trivia
- Johnny Curtis had 4 points
- Jacob Novak had 10 points
- Brodus Clay had 2 points
- Coner O'Brian had 2 points
- Bryon Saxton had 6 points
- Derrick Bateman had 9 points
Second match was a mixed match = Brodus Clay/Maryse/DiBiase vs Chris Masters/Bryon Saxton/Natalya
Saxton got the pin for his team.
Voting starts I think next week (?) for who fans want to see removed from the show. I am going on record saying the Two Rookies I want to see win season 4 are = Johnny Curtis and Coner O'Brian.
The Rookie I want to see tossed from the show cause I think he's crap is Derrick Bateman
Program note * Canadian viewers - The Score will be airing next week's episode on Dec 29th 2010 at 7pm

My Views on WWE NXT for the week of Dec 15th 2010
Yes I know I'm still a week behind.
We opened with a... karaoke challenge. That's my kind of challenge.
#1-Conor O'Brian went first and had to sing Sheamus' song. Oh MY! my ears are bleeding. Dude, more Cher less Axl Rose.
#2- Derrick Bateman sang Miz's song. All I have to say is that Tom Araya is not exactly sweating or anything.
#3- Jacob Novak sang Dolph Ziggler's song. Cats are covering their ears right now.
#4-Brodus Clay sang Cody Rhodes. He sort of spoke it and not even tried to sing it.
#5- Johnny Curtis sang Randy Orton's song. The crowd went nuts when that was announced. Um dude, just cause you're singing Orton's theme does not mean you need to pretend to be him, though I'm sure your little snake dance on the canvas took some energy. At lest he didn't take himself so damned seriously as a few of the other guys did.
#6- Byron Saxton sang HBK's song. He's got a voice. Too bad they gave him that song. It was the wrong key but... the dancing was not needed.
I have a feeling there are alot of Pantera fans in that list of Rookies. Bryon Saxton won this one.
We had a tag team match, Chris Masters/Bryon Saxton vs DiBiase/Brodus Clay. Ironically, DiBiase was looking decent in this match. Maybe DiBiase has been reading what fans have been saying and actually gone back to training? DiBiase got the win for his team.
The obstacle course was the second challenge. It was worth 2 points.
We then had a match between Albert Del Rio vs Derrick Bateman. Alberto Del Rio won with his cross armbreaker.
Okay, I have to say this, I like the idea of Dolph Ziggler being unsettled over the idea of Jacob Novak hanging around Vicky. I just wish Vicky would get a new necklace.

- Byron Saxton ran it in 1.02 minute

- Derrick Bateman ran it in 5.7 seconds
- Johnny Curtis ran it in 34.8 seconds and was disqualified for falling off the beam
- Brodus Clay was also disqualified for tossing the stuff around and putting his hands on the ref

My Views on WWE NXT for the week of Dec 8th 2010
This was episode #1 of season 4 (yes I am a full week behind on stuff- deal)
I have one thing to say about this season... Johnny Curtis!
The other thing I have to say about this season is that the choice of Pros is better then they've had in the past seasons. Daniel Bryan and Dolph Ziggler and Alberto Del Rio were a brilliant choice of Pros. These three superstars should have their own show between the three of them. That would be a two hour show I would kill to see.
- Johnny Curtis. Hush now, stand there look pretty but don't talk.
- Brodus Clay had a decent skill for the mic.
- Byron Saxton -The Rock called and wants his image back-
- Jacob Novak... toss him off the show.
- Derrick Bateman, I have an issue with men named Derrick (Derek) in general and that hair... dude what the hell is that growing out of your skull? Welcome to the Wrestling Fashion Police, is all I have to say on that for the moment.
- Conor O'Brian Funny, very funny. Very strong on the mic, there is a certain sense of personality with him that you haven't seen in a long while.
Johnny Curtis vs Jacob Novak. Johnny Curtis got the win. Johnny Curtis proved in this match that he's got the strength, and by far has the look, but he is a slight bit on the slow side. Dude, you need to quicken your pace a few steps.
Jacob Novak won the first round of challenges. He's safe from elimination this first round.
