Smackdown Highlights for May 28th 2010

Originally posted on my blog on May 31st 2010

I am doing a marked down version today of the show for simple fact that I am short on time this week.

We open with a promo saying the Undertaker is returning to Smackdown... I was unaware he had even left.

Drew McIntyre came out with yet another note from Mr. MacMann. Dude, that story line is getting old come up with something new already. He was in a tag match with Swagger against Kofi Kingston and Big Show. This was a return match from the ppv last week. Kofi and Swagger are both champs at this time. Big Show got the win over McIntyre.

CM Punk who had lost his icky hair at the ppv came out for a match in a mask. BOO He still had the icky beard thought, I thought that was part of the hair match too... he went against Kane in a qualifying match for the next ppv. Punk got the win and now goes to the Fatal Fourway .

Christian/Hornswaggle vs Dolph Ziggler/Chavo. Christian got the win over Chavo with his killswitch. Ziggler then slapped on his sleeper on Christian after the match.

Luke Gallows vs MVP. Gallows got the win with a cheat.

Rey Mysterio vs Undertaker. Undertaker won with his tombstone and goes on to the Fatal Fourway.

My Thoughts on TNA Impact for May 27th 2010

Originally posted on my blog on May 29th 2010

I used screen capture for this post

iTunes Canada had it this morning, and as you know if you read my post at that time, I'm late because I went to see Sex and the City 2

Team 3D vs Ink Inc vs Nash/Young. Non title. Moore and Young started with a collar tie up, Young then working on the shoulder of Moore. Young went off the ropes with a shoulder block sending Moore to the mat. Back to their feet and Moore with two very deep arm drags which he followed with an inverted atomic drop. Moore then with a double leg drop going for the cover but only got a two count. Young then sent him into the corner, but Moore delivered a back elbow rocking Young. Moore then off the top turnbuckle with a flying bulldog going for a cover but only got a near fall. Jesse Neal then tagged in, and they used a double team move on Young, before getting shoved into the corner. But Neal got a boot up on Young hitting him in the jaw. Neal then with a cross body for a cover but still only got a two count. Young with a rake to the eyes then planted Neal face first into the top turnbuckle. Young then had a large slam for Neal, at which point Brother Ray blindtagged himself in. Ray went for a large elbow but missed as Neal rolled out of the way. Neal then fought back with a series of forearms to the face. Ray got things back in his favour with a nasty looking clothesline, before laying in a few loud chops to the upper body of Neal. Ray then had Neal in the middle of the ring delivering cross faces, and Nash was in the far corner trying to climb it for I have no idea what but Young talked him down, Devon then blindtagged himself in. Devon tossed Neal into his corner letting Moore tag back in. Devon and Moore then with a collar tie up which lead to Moore getting a few punches in before trying a sunset flip. Moore then with a flying kick stumbling Devon. Neal tagged back in, as did Ray who used a double clothesline to knock down both Ink Inc. Neal in the corner again with Ray stomping on him, yelling that he's just not going to pin him yet. Neal managed to get a gore on Ray for the win. Nash and Young had started to leave the ring area, then for whatever reason Nash jumped back up with the tag belt held high. Weird.

Kaz vs Jay Lethal. I'm still giddy over Lethal being just Lethal, still doing a happy dance.
They started with a collar tie up. Kaz then started to just lay down punches on Lethal getting him against the ropes for a moment. Lethal used a nice kick, followed by a standing drop kick knocking Kaz down. Lethal then on the apron with a shoulder block to Kaz through the ropes. He slingshot back into the ring right into a leg scissors which tossed Kaz out of the ring. Lethal then used a suicide dive nailing Kaz against the rails. And he screamed that he's so glad to be back. Back in the ring and Lethal goes for a cover but only gets a two count. Kaz then in the corner and Lethal with another drop kick sending him hard into the turnbuckles. Kaz then with a running leap and a knee to the back of the neck of Lethal, getting him off guard following it up with a few forearms to the face. Kaz then with a hard slam on Lethal and a springing leg drop, but Lethal used a few punches and a spring off the ropes into a flying forearm knocking Kaz down. Lethal followed this up with a running moonsault into a crossbody but only got a two count. Kaz then with a jawbreaker but Lethal quickly came back at him with a running kick to the back of the skull turning Kaz inside out. Lethal then slapped in a figure four leg lock but Kaz got to the ropes breaking the hold. Kaz used a roll up for the win.

Orlando Jordan vs Abyss. Jordan went right for the injured arm of Abyss, but Abyss managed to back away a few steps. they then went into a collar tie up which quickly led to Abyss getting a wrist lock on Jordan. Jordan turned it around in his favour by using a roll through then went right back to the injured arm Abyss did however, get a clothesline on Jordan knocking him to the mat for a moment. Abyss then with a large high backdrop on Jordan sending him clear across the ring. Abyss then charged after him, but Jordan moved and Abyss went shoulder first into the steel. Jordan then went back to working on the injured arm by ripping off the bandages and picking at the stitches. Jordan then went to the top rope coming down hard with an elbow to the arm of Abyss. Abyss then was able to fight back with a simple boot to the face of Jordan which he followed up with a splash in the corner. Jordan then went for a float over in the far corner, but Abyss caught him in midair and slammed him hard in the middle of the ring. Both men out of the ring suddenly and Jordan going face first into the ring post. Desmond Wolfe then came out and the match was called by a dq.

Knock Out tag match... Beautiful People vs Serina/Wilde. BP win and keep their titles.

Wolfe vs Hardy...I debated if I was going to cover this one as I really don't like Hardy but I do like Wolfe so.... Wolfe started with a shoulder block, followed by an upper cut causing Hardy to stagger to the ropes. Wolfe with a snap take over then off the ropes with another shoulder block, and a cartwheel getting out of the way of Hardy. Nice. Wolfe then with a leap frog over Hardy, but Hardy grabbed him for his sit down pin, only got a two count. Wolfe with a kick from the corner then an upper cut sending Hardy once again to the ropes. Hardy then charged at Wolfe, who moved out of the way and planted Hardy face first into the top turnbuckle before going for kick/chop combo to the neck of Hardy while having him in a modified hangman. This is why I like Wolfe, he's quick thinking. Wolfe then going for his second rope speed bump, but was cut short by Hardy with a spinning kick. BOO. Hardy then with his running drop kick in the corner. Double Boo. Wolfe rolled out of the ring, Hardy then with a second rope slide and a cross body onto the floor. Wolfe then elbowed him sending Hardy into the rails. Back in the ring and Wolfe goes for a cover but only got a two count. Hardy going for his twist of fate but it was blocked and countered by Wolfe with a wicked looking arm-wringer snap. Nice. Wolfe went for a cover but again, only a two. He was going for his trademark tower of London, but Hardy blocked it. Hardy then went for another twist of fate but once again, Wolfe blocked it and countered with his hammerlock. Hardy in the corner with a scissors move rolling Wolfe across the ring. Hardy off the top rope with a corkscrew move that slammed into the ref, then he put his twist of fate on Wolfe, but the ref was down. Wolfe with a cheat move with a loaded weapon for the win.

A.J. Styles vs Mr. Anderson. Yay! Styles got rid of the cuff links. He finally listened to me. I think Styles should be the number one contender to the belt. They started with a collar tie up, Styles landing in the corner. He then got a side head lock on Anderson before Anderson reversed it slapping one on him. This went on for a few minutes, each trying to counter and ending up with Styles still in a side headlock on the mat. Styles did finally break the hold with a head scissors on Anderson. He broke out of this move, and Styles slapped another side headlock on him. Finally, back to their feet and they traded forearms/chops for a moment. Styles then with a leap frog over Anderson, and a drop kick. Anderson then with a few punches, and Styles going for another leap frog, but was caught by Anderson who used a roll through going for a cover. Only a two count. Styles with a kick to the skull from the mat, and started to step on Anderson's throat. Styles then with a snapmare, and working on the shoulders and neck of Anderson. Anderson battled out with a series of punches then a flying forearm/crossbody combo. But Styles used a roll up for the win.

Raw May 24th 2010 - Sort of

Hey guys, I had some issues getting to see the whole show this week so there isn't an actual review of this past Monday's Raw.

But, I will give a small run down of my thoughts on the parts I did get to see.

Batista quitting. We should be so lucky. I don't know if his contract is up, or if he's really injured or what the case is, but it's time for him to just go away. I like the idea of Bret Hart now being in charge and firing Batista. Works for me.

Bret Hart being the new general manager. You would think that this would eliminate the crappy guest host, but it seems they still want to suck the life out of us on that. Stupid.

The next ppv having a 4 way for the belt. Randy Orton, Sheamus, Edge and Cena. I actually like this idea. The feuds here could turn out to be wicked if they do them right. I'm not a fan of Cena so seeing him loose the title soon to anyone would be nice. But you know I have a soft spot for Sheamus.

Speaking of the white knight, he was looking alittle vampy this week from the bit I saw. As in wearing vampire movie body make up. Normally, you can see every red mark on him from the other guys hitting him with chops and such and from where he gets tossed into the ring post and what not, but this week you didn't see any red marks or bruises. It was almost too perfect his skin. Not that I'm complaining as you know I love a pale Irish guy.

I promise to have things back on schedule next week. Baring of course another power outage.

My Thoughts on TNA Impact for May 20th 2010

Originally posted on my blog on May 25th 2010

iTunes Canada is once again late, I had to go looking on the Spike Tv official website
And we open with Bishoff and Miss-Tes-Mocker.... um wasn't that the same name you guys gave Stacey Kibler when she first started back in WCW as part of censor board group thingie you had her in? Standards and Practices?

So we were given the top ten contenders for the belt.
10- Samoa Joe
9- Rob Terry
8- Desmond Wolfe
7- Pope
6- Abyss
5-Mr. Anderson
4-Hardy
3-A.J. Styles
2-Kurt Angle
1-Sting
Wow, what a very crappy and predictable line up. I would have had Samoa Joe, Desmond Wolfe, A.J. Styles and who I have been cheering for on this for months that was overlooked Eric Young. as the list. Yes, I feel this list is total bulldren. Then Angle removed himself, opening up the number 10 spot as everyone moved up one. Kaz would later in the night win a 8 man X-Division battle royal for the spot. Now Kaz I can get behind.

Knock Outs match... Roxxi vs Madison Rayne. Roxxi won with her trademark Voodoo Drop.

Orlando Jordan vs Rob Terry. this is a sugarcoated waste of time. Jordan went right for the injured leg of Terry, but was tossed across the ring. Terry then started in with a hiptoss and a series of clotheslines. He pushed Jordan into the corner, before Terry used a massive backdrop on him, then followed it up with a short clothesline. Jordan then went after the knee again. He slapped on a leg lock submission move, and the ref called the bell.

Beer Money Inc vs Jay Lethal/RVD. damn this was shaping up to be a wicked match till you put RVD in there now ... But it's Jay Lethal as Jay Lethal... I'm doing a happy dance. Roode jumped Leathal as the bell was ringing. Pushed him into the corner with a series of punches. Lethal fought back with a few chops, but was put into a headlock. Lethal did get out of it, using a hip toss with his cartwheel drop kick on Roode. Beauty! I'm still giddy about him being just Jay Lethal. Lethal charged at Roode, but ended up on the outside of the ring apron, and used a shoulder block on Roode sending him back a few feet. Lethal went up to the ropes, but was tossed off by Storm, giving Roode the chance to stomp on him. Storm tagged in, and they used a double team move on him in the corner. Storm then followed this up with a couple of stomps to the thighs of Lethal and a clothesline that turned him inside out. Roode then tagged in, and they used a double team on Lethal sending him flying to the rafters with a hard back body drop. Storm tagged back in, and again they double teamed him. Storm laying in some hard looking punches. Lethal off the ropes with his handspring back elbow. Both Roode and RVD have now tagged in. RVD with clotheslines on both members of BMI, then a spinning kick to Storm in the corner. He then went for his trademark roundhouse, but Roode blocked it. RVD then to the top turn buckle with his flying single leg drop kick and into a cover but only a two count. Storm back into the ring and they used another double team move on him, then Lethal blindtagged himself in, going for a missile drop kick on Roode and followed it with his lethal combination backbreaker Then RVD used his rolling thunder on Roode, before Lethal slapped on a figure four leg lock on Roode for the win.

I understand the idea of having Eric Young team up with Nash and Hall, I do really, just promise me one thing You will keep the bald look going, cause damn you look good bald Mr. Young.
He went up against Shanon Moore. Young jumped Moore attacking his shoulders. He sent Moore into the corner, but Moore used a float over then a arm drag on Young. He followed this with a drop kick and an inverted atomic drop. Moore then used a double leg drop going for a cover but only got a near fall. Moore back to the corner, this time with a flying cross body on Young, another cover but only a near fall. Moore was going off the ropes but Young cut him short with a running clothesline. Young then with a drop elbow and cover but only got him a two count. Young followed this up with a scoop slam and a flying elbow off the top rope. He then had Moore on the second rope, choking him out before using a snap take over into a submission move. ...then the website crashed and the segment skipped. Dude! Moore battled out, and went off the ropes again, Young catching him in mid move, but Moore pulled a bulldog on him then backed it up with a series of drop kicks. Moore then off the top rope with a corkscrew move, but only got a near fall. Young used a piledriver on him for the win.

Hardy vs Sting... I don't care.

And the MotorCityMachine Guns! this is one of those matches I hate to even try to call cause it's total chaos. MMG, vs Kaz vs Generation Me vs Amazing Red vs Homicide. In a battle royal. Dude, I can't even keep up with who's in this there is no way I can call it proper. Totally sucks. Amazing Red was eliminated. Max Buck was eliminated Alex Shelley was eliminated what! Mr. Shelley how could you (I suddenly want to say the line from Lost Boys when Sam finds out Micheal is a vampire and says "you just wait till mom finds out" but that would be so wrong to be saying right now. Well, you know I just needed to find away to get a vampire reference in) Jeremy Buck was eliminated Chris Sabin was eliminated is he okay? He fell funny on the apron. Homicide was eliminated by Kendrick who by the by was hiding under the ring the whole time, I didn't even know he was in this match. Kendrick was eliminated Kaz wins he now moves into the number 10 spot

JTG vs Caylen Croft. They started with a collar tie up, JTG turning it into a chickenwing. Croft used a back elbow to break out of the hold. JTG then with a snapmare and into the cover only got a two count. Croft then with a series of punches, and a knee to the jaw. Croft let his guard down, and JTG used an uppercut staggering him. Curt Hawkins/Vance Archer vs Brent Roberts/Jeremy Barner.... okay that's just wrong! I'm talking about the hair on those two wrestlers Archer and .... you know that totally turned me off for this match. Hawkins and Archer won... yeah not liking them at all.

Swagger vs Kofi Kingston. They started with a collar tie up, Kofi backed into the corner. He fought out with a series of kicks and then followed with a drop kick sending Swagger out of the ring. Back in the ring, and Swagger attacked with punches, but Kofi off the second turnbuckle with a flying elbow, then sent him out of the ring again. Once more back in the ring, and Kofi had Swagger in the middle of the ring working on his shoulder. Swagger managed to get to his feet and turn it around by sending Kofi into the ropes. he charged but Kofi pulled the ropes sending him again outside, then sprang at him with a crossbody outside of the ring. Swagger caught him mid air then tossed him into the ringpost. Back in the ring, Swagger went for a cover but only a two count. He had Kofi in the corner pounding him into the top turnbuckle. Kofi fought out with a series of punches to the gut of Swagger. Swagger then started to stomp on Kofi, tossing him into the far corner giving him a clothesline. Kofi up on the second rope with what was looking like another cross body only to be stopped midair by a large boot. Swagger again for a cover, only a near fall. Swagger then on the mat with a submission move on Kofi. To their feet and Kofi with a sunset flip, but Swagger turned it around with a belly to belly. He then was using the ropes to choke him out. Kofi then with a side Russian leg sweep, but Swagger to his feet with a punt kick going for the cover. Only a near fall. Big Show then came to the ring letting Kofi get a cross body for the win.

Rey Mysterio/MVP vs CM Punk/Luke Gallows. MVP and Gallows started with a collar tie up, which MVP turned into a side headlock. Gallows then with a clothesline on MVP sent him crashing to the mat. Gallows then with a few upper cuts, before MVP ducked bouncing off the ropes delivering a flying forearm. Rey tagged in and they used a double team move, Rey then with a leg drop. Gallows then to his feet tossing Rey off the ropes, but he was served a kick for his troubles. MVP tagged back in, and used a hard boot to the face of Gallows. Gallows threw him into the corner, but MVP countered with a back elbow before trying a second rope move. Gallows grabbed his leg then stomped on him before slamming him face first in the top turnbuckle. Punk tagged in, and had MVP in the middle of the mat in a submission move, working on the knee. Gallows back in, with a series of punches to MVP's stomach, then he stretched the boot to MVP's throat. MVP fought out, but was shoved back into the corner. He went for a cover but only a near fall, then a hard slam on MVP followed with a splash and another two count. Punk back in with a spinning mule kick on MVP. Gallows in again with his reversed bear hug on MVP in the center of the ring. MVP fought out, Rey tagged in, with his spring board pup then a flying cross body. Only got a two count. Rey with his flying bulldog. He took the knee out of Gallows setting him up for 619 but Punk tagged himself in with a spring board on Rey getting a cover but only a near fall. BS with a slam on Drew. He then held him on the second rope for a choke out, then another chop hard on the chest of Drew. He then stood on Drew's throat. Drew started to fight back with a thumb to the eye and a series of forearms. BS used a clothesline to just send Drew flying. He followed this with a headbutt. Drew went out of the ring, and used the top rope to get the upper hand on BS. He then started to work on the legs and knees of BS with a few kicks. He went for a full nelson, but BS was too well large. BS then with another chop and clothesline. He splashed Drew in the corner then another shoulder block sending Drew to the mat. Large choke slam on Drew just as Swagger came into the ring. the match was thrown out on a dq.

Raw May 17th 2010

Originally posted on my blog on May 19th 2010
I used screen capture for this post

We opened with Bret Hart as we were in Toronto. Finally, Canada is getting some respect from the WWE. oh don't even get me started on the episode from last summer that Sargent Slaughter hosted. And Jericho, the two biggest names from Canada at the moment in the business. Good call. Hey, thought this was suppose to be commercial free? Seems someone forgot to tell the SCORE here in Canada, as there were commercials (mind you this was a replay)

Edge vs Christian. Beauty! Nice! Wicked! they started with a collar tie up, Edge in the corner. Another collar tie up with a go behind by Edge that was quickly countered by Christian who used a take down to get Edge on the mat. Another tie up Edge getting the quick advantage with a wrist lock before slapping on a side headlock. Christian got out of it and used a leapfrog then a clothesline going for a cover. Only a near fall. Edge with a hard slap to Christian, both men now running around the outside of the ring. Edge slithered back in, with a series of forearms to the neck of Christian. He tossed Christian off the ropes but Christian used a baseball slide to counter. Slapped Edge hard before getting Edge on the second rope for his back stand. Just as he jumped to the floor for his trademark hit, Edge countered with another chop of his own. Christian back in the ring for a second then used a hesitation drop kick on Edge sending him into the rails. Christian then used his running cross body on the outside of the ring. Edge then side stepped him, sending Christian full on into the rails. Back in the ring, Edge stomping on Christian. He was working on the shoulder of Christian, which was injured when he hit the rails few minutes before. Christian battled out with a series of punches but Edge used a shoulder block sending Christian to the mat. Edge used a drop elbow then a shoulder stretch continuing to work on the arm. Christian used a roll up to counter the hold and put Edge in a headlock. Christian was then shoved into the corner and managed to sea-saw on the second rope getting out of the way of a spear, but Edge shook him free and Christian once more was laying on the mat. Only got a two count. Back to their feet and Christian with a series of forearms and kicks from the corner, causing Edge to stumble. Christian was heading for a top rope move but was countered the first time, used a tornado DDT the second time but only a near fall. He then put a flap jack on Edge and a missile drop kick but still only a two count. Edge with a kick and a rake to the eyes, Christian then tried to engage his killswitch but Edge countered. Once again Edge on the second rope and Christian was able to deliver his floored slap followed by a reversed hangman on the top rope. Edge was going for a kick to the skull of Christian, but he got out of the way and used a roll up for the cover, but only got a two count on Edge. A vicious forearm to the back of the neck from Edge sent Christian flying onto the ropes nearly knocking him out. Edge was setting up for his spear but it was countered as Christian flew off the top rope with a sunset flip, still only a near fall. Edge was heading for his spear again but Christian countered another time with a sea-saw on the ropes before taking to the air himself landing a flying elbow perfectly. Christian went once more for his killswitch but was unable to lock it on. Edge shoved him into the ringpost and speared him for the win.

Then the Undertaker came out... yeah I get you're the star attraction and the company is hinged on you, but dude why the hell does it take you so frealing long to get your ass to the ring? I mean, man they made fun of Trent Acid taking forever on JCW, but you take just as long. This is round two for Edge. Edge spent time hanging out on the apron letting the count out happen. Christian was still hanging out few feet away and tossed Edge back in the ring where he promptly got choke slammed.

DiBiase with Virgil .... dude no! That's just so wrong! vs Yoshi Tatsu. DiBiase started with a go behind, slithering around to put on a headlock then an armbar. Tatsu countered with an armbar of his own, before DiBiase backed him into the corner. They then both were off the ropes, Tatsu going for a hip toss but it was blocked, he got it though on the third try. Tatsu with a drop kick and an armbar. DiBiase backed him into the corner again, with a hard forearm. He then tossed Tatsu into the far corner. Tatsu used a floatover to get out but landed right on the shoulders of DiBiase who used a hard knee drop gut buster. Followed it up with a kick to the gut and a vertical drop onto the top rope. DiBiase got a near fall then went right for a chin lock. Tatsu battled out with a series of elbows but was thrown into the corner. DiBiase charged at him but received a back elbow and a stiff boot to the jaw. Tatsu then used a spinning heel kick. Tatsu then followed it up with another series of kicks and a roll through for the cover. Only a near fall. DiBiase out of nowhere with dreamstreet for the win. More of this Tatsu please. I'm liking the style he's wrestling
Miz vs Bret Hart. This is a no dq match. And surprise, Jericho came out. Then Natalya came out and it became a mixed tag. She slapped Jericho, then blocked a move from Miz letting Bret get a hard punch on Miz. Jericho then with a punch to the gut of Bret, then Smith into the rign beating down on Jericho, Miz creeped up on Smith with a forearm to the back of the skull on him. Miz then turned his attention to Bret and was starting to slap the sharpshooter on him when Kidd came from the top rope with a missile drop kick. Smith then back in the ring and they used the heart attack on Miz. Bret then slapped his trademark sharpshooter on Miz. Miz tapped out and Bret Hart is now the new United States Champ.
The beginning of this match Regal and Kozlov came out to tangle with the Hart Dynasty. Nice way to set up a feud between those two teams.

Divas match.... boo.

It seems Canadian viewers because we had commercials we lost pieces of the show. Cena, I can find a bunch of flaws in you... if I cared which I don't so I never asked for your time. Bored Now.

Randy Orton vs Swagger. Swagger started with a go behind slam on Orton. He followed it up with a tie up turning it into a reversed bear hug. Orton battled out with a few elbows before picking up Swagger and slamming him hard. Then Orton began his stomp. Swagger got to his feet and shoved Orton into the corner with rapid fire shoulder blocks. Orton used a neckbreaker and took up his stomp again. He went for his flying knee but missed, as Swagger used a clothesline. He then slapped a chin lock on Orton. He tossed Orton into the corner but Orton used an elbow to get him staggering. Orton followed it up with a series of short clotheslines. Swagger then out of the ring, Orton followed him only to get put face first into the announce booth. Back in the ring, and Orton was going for his hangman DDT but it was countered by Swagger who used a heavy belly to belly throw. Swagger off the second rope with a stomach splash he's known for. Orton was outside of the ring and as he tried to get up, Swagger kicked him onto the announce booth. Swagger now outside the ring kicking on Orton, then pushing him into the ring apron hard. Back in the ring, Swagger went for a cover but only got a two. He then put a chin lock/choke hold on Orton. Orton to his feet battling out but was stopped short by another belly to belly throw by Swagger. Swagger went for another one of his second rope splashes but Orton rolled and kicked him just as he was about to deliver it. then Orton started his Shapeshifting. Using two clotheslines and a scoop slam Orton got him on the ropes for his hangman DDT. Edge disrupted the match and it was called on a dq.

Zack Ryder/Alicia Fox vs Evan Bourne/Gail Kim. The men started it off with a collar tie up and Bourne in the corner who used a wicked looking double drop kick. He then continued with a series of kicks to Ryder but Ryder got a knee to the chest of Bourne sending him back to the ropes. Bourne bounced off them into a sunset flip but only got a two count. Ryder then with a spinning neck breaker on Bourne and then stood on his neck. Bourne then with a roll up with only a near fall. he followed it up with a spinning heel kick, as the women ran into the ring. Ryder in the corner, Fox tossed for a pile up and Gail Kim charged at them with a cross body then slid out of the ropes as Bourne came running with a basement drop kick. Gail Kim off the top ropes to land a double kick to Fox. Only a two count. Ryder pulled the ropes and Gail Kim went out of the ring. Back in the ring, Fox with a bridge pin for a near fall. Gail Kim with a jawbreaker as Bourne ran into the ring to block Ryder with a flying drop kick and a standing hurricanrana. Bourne was going for his airbourne but Fox rolled Ryder out of the ring. Bourne then dove onto Ryder outside. Back in the ring and Gail Kim used her eat-defeat for a win.

Sheamus the white knight (I can call him whatever I want cause he's hot!) vs Cena. They started with a collar tie up Cena in the corner, and Sheamus going for a beat down. Cena fought back with a series of fists before getting Sheamus in the corner and using a running elbow on him. Cena then tossed him out of the ring, where upon Sheamus hit the rails hard before Cena put him face first into the steps dude is Sheamus okay? Sheamus managed to turn things around by sending Cena into the rails then following it up with a running knee to the skull Cool! Back in the ring, Sheamus went for a cover but only got a two count. Sheamus then with a series of punches and forearms of Cena. He sent Cena into the corner hard then used his trademark double axe handle on the back of his shoulders. Cean went down on the mat. Another cover and near fall. Sheamus went for a suplex but it was blocked and countered by one from Cena. Cena then with a hard running clothesline on Sheamus before throwing Sheamus into the ring post shoulder first. Sheamus fell out of the ring. Sheamus back in the ring and right into an attitude adjustment but was able to worm out of it, giving Cena a spinebreaker on his knee. Another cover but only a two count. Sheamus off the ropes right into a side slam. Cena laying in punches, then charging after Sheamus in the corner but got an elbow for his trouble. Cena outside on the apron, Sheamus giving him a running knee to the jaw. Cena on the floor. Cena back in the ring going for his bulldog but Sheamus sidestepped then sent him outside the ring again. Cena face first into the booth, then back in the ring. Sheamus for a cover but only a two count. Sheamus with a hard knee to the face of Cena, getting Cena on the apron, Sheamus used the ropes to add pressure to his forearms to the neck of Cena. Cena battling back with his flying shoulder block and a hard heavy slam on Sheamus setting up for his five knuckle shuffle. The attitude adjustment was blocked by Sheamus grabbing the ropes, Sheamus got tossed out of the ring and Batista ran in making this a dq.

screen capture was done by me using my laptop up to the television so that is why it's all fuzzy.

Smackdown May 14th 2010- Highlights

Originally posted on my blog on May 17th 2010

We open with the Intercontinental Championship finals.
Kofi Kingston vs Christian. Kofi started with a kick which landed nicely. His second one was caught by Christian, who then went with a go behind bring Kofi down to the mat. Kofi countered, getting an armbar then a side headlock on him. Christian got out of the hold, used a leap frog and a shoulder block getting Kofi back down to the mat. Christian went back to working on the arm of Kofi, who rolled out of the move then swept the legs out from under Christian. Kofi locked on another side headlock. Christian battled out tossing Kofi off the ropes then used a back elbow. Kofi then was in the corner, Christian using a monkey flip on him to send him across the ring but Kofi landed on his feet. Christian then went outside the ring, Kofi going for a cross body dive but missed. Christian followed through with a flying side elbow and both men are down outside of the ring. Back in the ring, and Christian had Kofi in a submission move, focusing on the neck. Kofi battled out only to end up getting a flap jack from Christian. It was only a two count. Christian went back to working on the neck with a chin lock. Kofi got out of the hold with a series of forearms before being sent backwards into the corner. Christian charged at him, but missed as Kofi used the second rope for a swing kicking Christian. Kofi off the top rope with a cross body but only got a two count. Kofi then went for a drop kick, before both men took a turn charging at the other in the corner. Kofi was getting things set up for his boom drop but was stopped mid move as Christian grabbed his legs for a cover, only getting a two count. Kofi then with a leap frog over Christian but was countered when Christian got him on his shoulders for a hard slam. Only got a near fall. Both men back to their feet and Kofi delivered a forearm sending Christian into the corner, where upon he got a double kick for his trouble. Both went off the top rope in turn with a cross body, both only got a near fall. Kofi finally landed his boom drop, but it only stunned Christian. Christian slapped on a neckbreaker but still only got a near fall. Christian then standing on the back of Kofi while he was on the second rope, delivered his trademark slap from outside the ring, then went for his killswitch. That was blocked as Kofi used his swinging roll up for a two count. Christian in the corner now, Kofi with a series of punches but Christian tossed him off using the second rope for a slide and kick. Flying elbow from Christian following it with a mule kick and a sunset flip. Kofi countered with his trouble in paradise for the win.
Kofi Kingston was the champ for about two minutes before Drew McIntyre came to the ring with a "note " saying he was still the champ.

Shad Gaspard vs Jesse Guyver . Shad tossed Guyver into the corner then started to stomp on him, before Guyver fought back with a few forearms. That was cut short with a large boot to the face from Shad. This was all Shad with a side head lock slam. He had him on the ropes for a beat down, before being slammed again on the mat. Guyver tried a sunset flip but was stopped with a choke from Shad, who then used an STO for the win.

JTG/MVP vs The Dude Busters. Barratta and JTG started it with a collar tie up, JTG ending up in the corner. Barratta then with a forearm before being tossed across the ring. JTG used an over head toss before a leap frog styled move. MVP came in as Croft ran in, keeping him out of the way. Both Dude Busters were sent flying out of the ring. Barratta back into the ring, right into the fist of JTG. Barratta then with a knee to JTG, going for a cover but only a two count. Croft tagged in with a kick to JTG, following it up with a rear chin lock. JTG was caught in their corner with a series of punches from both members of the Busters before Barratta tagged back in. He continued to stomp on JTG for a moment, getting a near fall. few quick tags between the Busters, before they used a double team move on JTG. Croft went for another rear chin lock but JTG fought out getting to his feet. JTG used a short clothesline as both men then made tags. MVP and Barratta both now in the ring, MVP using a over head toss and a series of clotheslines before a hard knee to the face of Barratta. MVP with his Ballin, and play of the day for the win.

Divas Match .... Rosa Mendes vs Beth Phoenix.... right why? Starting to think we have a women's division just to see the latest fashion on Vickie. Vickie deleted Mendes and made it a rematch for McCool.... yeah really don't care.

Kane vs Chavo. Kane went for a choke slam right off but Chavo slithered out of it. Chavo then went for a series of punches and kicks, to only get tossed out of the ring. Chavo from outside the ring used a hangman off the top rope on Kane, then was climbing the ropes but got a chop from Kane. Chavo used a drop kick on Kane but it caused little damage. Kane answered with a chop of his own. Chavo off the top rope right into a choke slam. Kane won with little effort. Chavo is a better wrestler then this, I really don't understand why he's being used only as a jobber.

Rey Mysterio vs CM Punk. Punk charged at Rey but missed. He then used a spinning mule kick on Rey getting a slight advantage. Rey off the ropes with a series of kicks to Punk. Rey under the legs of Punk as he bounced off the ropes. Punk then with a kick to the side of the skull of Rey which had Rey back up into the corner. Punk started to work on the back of the neck of Rey with a series of elbows. Rey caught Punk with a head scissors tossing him outside of the ring. He then followed with a high risk move off the apron but landed badly. Punk then shoved him into the rails. Back in the ring and Punk had Rey in a submission move continuing to work on the shoulders and neck. Rey kicked his way out of the move, following it with a few shoulder blocks in the corner. Rey then used a drop toe hold in the far corner sending Punk face first into the second turnbuckle. Rey was caught in the tree of woe, Punk using a basement drop kick going for a cover but only a two count. Punk slapped on an abdominal stretch adding pressure with a few elbows to the side. Rey managed to get out of it, and used another drop toe hold forcing Punk onto the second rope in set up for his 619 but it was countered as Punk slipped out of the way. Punk then tossed Rey out of the ring. Punk now outside the ring began a beating on Rey then tossed him back into the ring following with a top rope springboard. Only got him a two count. Punk went back to another submission move on Rey. Once again, Rey battled out with kicks then followed with his flying bulldog. Rey off the top rope with his trademark springboard but Punk was able to counter with a kick knocking Rey down. It only got him a near fall. Rey had Punk set up for the 619 again, but Luke Gallows came to the ring to distract Rey giving Punk the chance to do a roll up on him. Still only got a two count. Once more with the 619 and a springboard for the cover, but another distraction with Serrina coming into the ring and then a fourth member of Punk's crew hitting Rey from behind. Match was tossed for a DQ.

Thunder Bay was rocked by GNW

All Photos Copyright Kimberly Hulst '2010

From a late start (has any wrestling in this city ever started on time?) to a bad fan climbing the turnbuckles, to Nash sending Hannibal through a table, the night was wicked!

Let's get one thing straight right off the bat, everyone was there to see one man and one man only, VAMPIRO!!!!!
I'll give you the run down to the best of my ringing ears and splitting headache
I was in between the press pit and the wheel chair corner, which at first was no issue at all, but by the time Kevin Nash and Scott Steiner came out, dude, I could not see at all. Everyone and their dog's grandmother were then standing in front of me, and I was front row.
    1. Chaz Lovely vs (I didn't catch his name as the microphone sucked!) Chaz Lovely won with a neckbreaker -YAY!!!!! Oh I feel some profile love coming on Mr. Lovely
    2. The Sex Symbol vs Genius. The Sex Symbol won with a gorgeous moonsault. That was his first match of the night by the by.
    3. Honky Tonk Man vs (I think it was the Shocker? again didn't catch his name) Honky Tonk Man won with .... I didn't see as the large wall of fat men were suddenly in front of me.
    4. VAMPIRO vs Vinny something ... Vampiro won with his trademark and might I add BEAUTY nail in the coffin. Was there any doubt?
    5. Handi cap match between a masked team I think were called the Japan Assassins ??? with The Sex Symbol vs Scott Steiner. Steiner made extreme quick work of the masked men and then had a decent match with the Sex Symbol... or so I am guessing as I was pushed out of the way by a wall of fat drunk men. Steiner did make him tap out.
    6. Terry Funk was the special ref in this one between Kevin Nash and Hannibal. Once again, I was pushed as the entire building decided to cram themselves in the 5 feet between me and the ring. Hannibal was put through a table and Kevin Nash walked out to the Wolf Pack theme. Wonder if he'll make it to the ppv tomorrow in Orlando on time?

GNW in Thunder Bay... Down a man?

I just saw the youtube footage of yesterday's press conference here in Thunder Bay.
Seems it got a bit out of hand, and legend Terry Funk was taken to the local hospital. How will this effect tonight's event?

    I have no idea

Visit their youtube for the footage

This should make for a wicked night tonight here in Thunder Bay.

My Thoughts on TNA Impact for May 13th 2010

originally posted on my blog on May 14th 2010

I used screen capture for this post

Seems iTunes Canada loves me again this week, as last night's episode was available this morning for download. At this point though they have not gotten the May 3rd episode. Their listing jumps from April 26th to May 13th 2010 and for anyone who wants to know how long it takes to do a review, I started at 7:30am.

Now I know the episodes have titles just like Buffy/Angel/Forever Knight/Sex and the City but I use the air dates cause 1) most people search online by air dates and 2) dude, most times your titles suck. (it's good to be back isn't it)
To the audience member screaming alone, you know why your "Bishoff sucks" chant didn't work for ya, because it's better to play in a group then play with yourself. That and the faster we let Bishoff do what he's going to do the faster we get past the filler and on to the show... I love the smell of coffee and sarcasm in the morning, goes so well with my complexion.

AJ AJ AJ... we've talked about the cufflinks in the ears... dude, too big and you know I've never been one for diamonds I like pearls. Pearls are nice and less... sparkly. Men should wear Onyx or Jet.
Okay you know what, just cause I'm in a good mood this morning, I will actually mention Jeff Hardy just this once, but um dude, please stop with the dry humping entrance.

Knock Outs match Wilde vs Tara... Tara won with a kick as Wilde was going for a cross body.

Someone cue the garlic juice... for the tears that what's her handle was trying to cry... Universal Studios for freals sake, you would think you had some better acting .... nice set up though for the storyline.

Kendrick vs Douglas Williams. Kendrick still hasn't gotten decent theme music, dude you need to pencil that in okay... Williams made a speech about it being non-title as Kendrick jumped him in the corner with a series of forearms to the back. Williams fought back with a hard push then a forearm of his own rocking Kendrick. Tossing Kendrick then to the far corner, running full steam at him. Williams then followed with a snapmare but that only got him a two count. Kendrick then started to throw hard punches at him before going off the ropes but was stopped cold by a shoulder block. Williams then used a drop knee to get the slight advantage over Kendrick, but Kendrick came back at him with a few kicks. Kendrick then off the ropes with a flying forearm/crossbody combo but only got a near fall. Williams then rolled out of the ring, and pulled Kendrick off his feet slamming his knee into the ring apron. Back in the center of the ring, and Williams slapped on a half Boston crab. Kaz then came to the ring to collect his belt, which was just enough distraction to let Kendrick roll up on Williams for the win.

Generation Me vs Matt Morgan the evil druid... suppose I can't call him that anymore since he dropped the robe... in a handicap match. Max and Jeremy jumped him as he was entering the ring. No good, he tossed them off like children and then delivered a double running clothesline that sent them flying. Morgan then grabbed the blonde one and gave him a hard vertical slam before going after the brunette with a nasty running boot to the face. Still like to know what is it with wrestlers and long greasy hair? He then grabbed the microphone and blah blah blahed for a bit before grabbing the blonde one tossing him out of the ring and Samoa Joe came out to the ring giving Morgan a muscle buster. Then Nash and his crew came down to the ring, cashing in the fest or fired tag belts case.

Rob Terry vs Abyss. or you know not cause Abyss was being arrested. Snooze. Bored Now.
Okay here's the thing with Orlando Jordan, no one is debating your talent. We are debating your gimmick. Dude, it blows goat backwards. All puns intended. Just drop the gimmick and wrestle.
Tomko came to the ring for a match then with Jordan. I happen to like Tomko. He picked up Jordan slamming him into the corner then delivered a nice spinebuster. Jordan countered with a double leg take down, then proceeded to deliver a few fists to the jaw. Both back to their feet, Tomko moved out of the way as Jordan went face first into the turnbuckle. Tomko then with a lovely powerful over head toss. Jordan then shoved Tomko into to the corner and followed up with a drop kick. He continued then to stomp on Tomko, getting him on the second rope for a rear chin lock. Jordan then with a short snap on Tomko before a knee to the back. He continued to work on the neck and back of Tomko with another chinlock. Tomko back to his feet powered out with an elbow. Jordan leap frogged over Tomko but he got it with an extreme short clothesline from Tomko. Jordan then countered with a backbreaker. Jordan followed with a guillotine sleeper for the win.

Knock Outs match .... Sarita vs Tara in a revenge match....Tara won with a cheap shot.

RVD vs Hardy vs A.J. Styles... non title... you all know I am not a fan of either RVD or Hardy, just do not like watching them at all. So.... but Styles goofing around with the dude at ringside was funny, very funny. And Styles got the pin with the ropes... er um I mean I saw nothing but a win.
Because of the interruption of Mr. Anderson on Hardy, they had a small brawl at the end of the show.
OOOOHHHH does this mean Nash will be here tomorrow with the tag belts for the GNW event ?

And the MotorCityMachine Guns! in a four way tag match. Dude, I hate trying to call matches like this. You know, maybe if you guys didn't freal around at the start of the show with so much filler, you could have had two separate matches for the tag division. vs Team 3D vs Ink Inc vs Beer Money Inc.
Alex Shelley and James Storm started off. Okay Mr. Shelley what colour are your tights now? One camera has them looking blue and orange, one camera has them looking purple and an off orange. Someone needs to check the white balance on the cameras seriously.
They started with a collar tie up, Storm pushing Shelley into the corner. Shelley came back with a series of forearms to the face getting himself out of the corner. Yay! Storm then tossed him into the ropes but Shelley went to the mat for a slip through and roll away. Chris Sabin tagged in grabbing Storm and throwing him out of the ring. The Guns! then delivered double mule kicks to Robert Roode as he came into the ring. Beauty! They then did their trademark suicide dive (Sabin diving through the ropes Shelley holding them) which is impossible to get a screen capture of I have to say. Did get a screen capture of Mr. Shelley celebrating the move. Sabin then rolled Storm back into the ring, but only got a two count. Damn it. Storm fought back with a thumb to the eye and just tossing Sabin into the corner. Devon then blindtagged himself in, as Roode tagged in. Roode came at him with a punch but it got him nowhere. Devon then took control with a series of punches. They then traded blows for a moment. Hang on, are your tights half blue and half purple? Roode took control with a knee to the gut, before Devon used a scoop slam/power slam for a near fall, Shelley in for a save with what I think was a ping to the temple. Brother Ray then tagged in, and they used a double team move on Roode. Shanon Moore blindtagged himself in when Ray got too close to the rope, flying over him in a crossbody to land on Roode, only got a two count. Mr. Shelley what the hoovers was that you crossing yourself dude... I didn't realize there were vampires in the ImpactZone that day. It looked like Moore had control of the issue, but Roode got him with a wristlock then a kick to the gut sending Moore into the corner then out of the ring. Storm continued to do a beat down on Moore outside of the ring. Back in the ring, and Roode stompping on Moore, just before Storm tagged in and they used a double team back elbow on him. Beer Money then went for a wicked looking reversed backbreaker ... guess you call it a gut wrencher... Storm going for a cover but Brother Ray breaking it up. Storm then used an upper cut knocking Moore back down as Roode tagged in. Roode then with a snapmare on Moore before slapping on a chinlock. Moore fought out with a series of elbows then off the ropes for a sunset flip but only got a near fall. Roode answered with a hard running clothesline, but only got a near fall. Another tag to Storm, who used a few knees to the guts then went right back to working on the back and neck of Moore with another chinlock. Moore once again fought out with more elbows, then used a standing bulldog on Storm. Roode tagged in, Jesse Neal tagged in. Neal with a series of short clotheslines and a large back body drop before turning his attention to the Guns! in the corner sending them off the apron with more clotheslines. Neal then used a frontal swing slam. (I'm not sure what else to call it) Only got him a two count before Storm ran in for the save. BMI then used a double team move on Neal, as Brother Ray tagged himself in with double running clotheslines on BMI. Neal then used a schoolboy roll up on Ray but the Guns! in for the save. Guns! with their trademark stereo kicks to Ray, Devon then in with a series of punches to both Shelley and Sabin, before Shelley with a drop toe hold and Sabin with a standing flying elbow to the back. NICE! They then followed it with their trademark double teamed basement dropkick/semi-pull back. Sabin then with the stepladder dropkick on Storm in the corner knocking him off the ring apron. Sabin then on the apron was going for his wicked kick on Roode but Roode swept the leg out and dragged him down hard on the ring apron face first. Is Sabin okay? Slingshot clothesline by Shelley then on Roode. Back in the ring, Neal was pounding on the back of Devon in the corner before Ray came in with a hard punch. Neal then on the shoulders of Ray, Devon off the top turnbuckle for a flying short clothesline, going for the cover but Moore in for the save. Moore got planted in the top turnbuckle for his trouble. Ray then slapped Neal and charged at Moore in the corner, Moore got out of the way as Ray went face first into the turnbuckle. Moore off the top rope with a twisting neck breaker, Neal then with a gore for the win.

    Dear TNA.... Another Open Letter

    Dear TNA:

I just visited the voting area for the top contenders for the belt.
No, I did not vote.    I did not vote because you have got to be kidding me on the choices.
Who the hell wants to see the same old same old and the only new name you put in there is Rob Terry.... that's a bloody joke right?
You say you are listening to the fans,  really? No I mean really?   Are you reading the comments the other fans are leaving on the official Spike website cause every one of them feels the same way I do.  Betrayed, Disgusted, Let Down, and Ignored.
You know who you SHOULD HAVE PUT ON THE VOTING LIST  Eric Young! damn it!
So that is my vote for the next number one contender.  Eric Young.

    Raw for May 10th 2010

Putting Vickie as the general manager on a weekly basis was a good idea. Finally, getting rid of the guest host is long over due.

Jericho vs David Hart Smith. Jericho slapped Smith who answered back with a series of hard punches and a kick. Smith used his trademark vertical suplex next, before going for a leg drop but missed. Jericho then had a running boot for him. Jericho then started to work on the shoulder, adding a low drop kick. Jericho had him in a choke hold in the middle of the ring. Smith battled out, and had a large clothesline and shoulder block combo before a belly to belly toss. Smith followed with a scoop slam but only got a two count. Jericho used a back elbow to get Smith off his feet. Smith locked on a sharpshooter but Jericho broke on the ropes. Jericho used his codebreaker for the win.

R-Truth vs Regal. Regal started off with a few punches and a kick backing Truth into the corner. He whipped Truth into the far corner, but Truth did a float over catching Regal with a scissors kick. Then the Colons ran into the ring and the match was thrown out.

Zack Ryder vs Evan Bourne. Ryder started with a high knee to the chest of Bourne. He kept beating down on Bourne for the first minute but Bourne bounced off the ropes with a standing hurricanrana on Ryder. Bourne got a two count, before heading towards the ropes again. Ryder used his rough ryder but only got a near fall. He had Bourne on the bottom rope again choking him out with his knee. Bourne managed to get out and side step a running splash, then landed Bourne used a running jaw breaker on Ryder in the corner. This was the set up for airbourne which he used for the win.

Then John Cena was in the ring yammering on like a boring boring .... ohhhh Sheamus came out and spiced it up. Looking hotter then hell in a bathtub.

Kidd vs Miz. Miz started it with a go behind and a hard forearm to the back of Kidd. He followed it with a claw to the face pushing Kidd down to the mat, then kicking him. Kidd was tossed out of the ring. Kidd used a shoulder block on Miz from the ring apron, then jumped over the top rope in a sunset flip style move for the win.

Chaos then happened as all the NXT rookies went against a four man tag team. I've said before trying to call a match like this is just impossible. The rookies won.

Batista vs Mark Henry... well not really. Batista used a chair and the match was thrown.

Orton vs Edge/DiBiase in a handicap match. DiBiase started it off with a collar tie up that Orton turned into a side head lock. Orton went off the ropes with a shoulder block on DiBiase. Edge tagged himself in, using a hangman. He continued then to stomp on Orton before getting him on the second rope for a brief choke out. Edge pulled Orton into the corner where they doubled teamed him for a moment before DiBiase tagged in. DiBiase from outside the ring was working on the neck and upper half of Orton. Edge tagged back in. Edge was going for a suplex but Orton blocked it, Edge then turned around and delivered a hard boot to the jaw. Quick tag. Orton fighting back with a few forearms but was caught with a clothesline from DiBiase. DiBiase then had him in the middle of the ring with a chin lock. Orton to his feet, and a bounce off the ropes but it was stopped by DiBiase. Orton did manage to deliver a few clotheslines to DiBiase, and a back elbow to Edge before going back to DiBiase for a scoop slam. Orton sent Edge flying off the ring apron then turned his attention back to DiBiase with a backbreaker. Orton used his RKO for the win.

My Thoughts on TNA Impact for May 3rd 2010-Highlights

Yeah I know it's a full week late. I have been searching between iTunes Canada and the official Spike TV website since last Tuesday morning. Spike had it at noon today.

Remember my Spudguns, if you didn't hear it already, it's official IMPACT IS MOVING BACK TO THURSDAYS STARTING THIS WEEK! So from what I understand, there will be NO episode tonight (May 10th Monday) But there will be one on this Thursday May 13th
I hate watching the show this way, cause it's like watching stop animation there are so many digital mess ups and buffering and ..... ggrrr!
Jay Lethal... oh my! Did he finally drop the frealing gimmick? That would be nice... um Jay thinks he's the Nature Boy now.... loud groan. Well, at lest he looks hot in a suit. Finally he got rid of the sparkly moo-moo! I can get behind that I can totally. Dude! what the hell? It keeps skipping... serious. The first segment with Lethal kept jumping to the next segment.
Hey did I ever tell you that my ex Dargo looked just like Robert Roode..... Everytime someone else logs on to the website it causes a traffic jam and craps out the show for me. Who's the security hottie with the tattoos?

(Dude! when iTunes Canada gets this for download I will re-do this post. This is just a mess with the stopping and skipping and ggrrr)

Kendrick/Williams vs Jessie Neal/Shanon Moore (Ink Inc) .... Jessie Neal won with a spear on Kendrick

Knock Out tag team Beautiful People vs Tara/Sereta/Wilde... BP's win with a cheat of a double teamed DDT

A.J. Styles vs Abyss.... Styles won with a distraction from Flair and Chelsie

Wolfe vs RVD....RVD won and keeps his championship

And the MotorCityMachine Guns! They were in a 3 way tag match against Beer Money Inc and Team 3D.... Sabin was spring boarding off the top ropes in this amazing flips that must have gotten a height of at lest 6 feet (off the top rope which would have put it what...in the rafters) Mr. Shelley blue and orange???? You know what with the bad colouring on this website and the stopping digital scrambledness of it... did I see right was Mr. Shelley bouncing on the second rope like it was a playground toy? Nash and Hall came down got the match thrown out, then Mr. Yummy...er Eric Young is with Nash's crew now... and dude, blue and orange tights really???

    Smackdown for May 7th 2010-Hightlights

Have I mentioned lately how I really hate long hair on men... Drew McIntrye yeah I'm talking to you right now.
He did a beat down on Matt Hardy to drive home the feud they've had gone now for months. Hardy was left complaining about his shoulder. Okay, you know, the wrestling business is chalked fill of injuries real and fake. There was a time when I could tell a story injury from the real thing, I admit I can't anymore. There is just too many times an injury is used as a plot thickener and too many times a real injury happens and the camera operators are not told to cut. Either the wrestlers have gotten acting lessons in the last year or I have been watching too much wrestling as everything is blending into one.

    MVP
vs Luke Gallows.  Gallows started with a hard right hand to the jaw of MVP. MVP retaliated with a series of punches of his own, then was whipped into the corner, but managed a float over. Gallows ran then into a clothesline from MVP.  Only got a two count. Another series of fists from MVP before sending Gallows into the corner hard. MVP went for a running boot but Gallows side stepped causing MVP to go out of the ring hitting the rails. Gallows followed with some more punches to the guts before tossing MVP back into the ring. He softened up MVP with some high knees before using a double underhook over head toss. Gallows followed this up with a reversed bear hug. MVP fought out but was whipped into the corner. Gallows went back to the reversed bear hug, once again whipping MVP into the corner.  This time MVP battled out, catching him with a few flying clotheslines, then set up for his ballin elbow. There was a fuss outside the ring then as Mysterio came down to beat on CM Punk who'd been at ringside. This was the distraction MVP needed to use his trademark Play of the Day for the win.

Divas match... Kelly Kelly/Tiffany vs McCool/Layla... well you know I just don't care.

Kofi Kingston vs Dolph Ziggler.  First Round of the Intercontinental championship tournament. They started with a collar tie up, Ziggler turning it into a side head lock. Kofi was starting to battle out but Ziggler bounced off the ropes with a hard shoulder block knocking Kofi down. Kofi then had a few leap frogs over Ziggler as he went back to the ropes a few times, Kofi ending it with flying back elbow. Only got a two count. Ziggler threw Kofi at the ropes thinking he'd gone out of the ring, but Kofi clung on to them bouncing back landing a flying clothesline on Ziggler. Ziggler out of ring, Kofi suicide dived on him. Back in the ring, and Ziggler caught Kofi with a leg drop on the back of the neck as he was climbing back in.  It sent Kofi right back out to land hard on the floor. Back in the ring, and Ziggler had a choke hold on Kofi, then used a pumphandle slam but only got a two count. Ziggler then had Kofi tangled in the ropes as he slapped on another choke hold using the second rope as extra weight. Kofi used a series of back elbows to get out of it. Drop kick from Ziggler but only got a near fall. Ziggler applied the camel clutch, but Kofi powered out for a moment. Ziggler with a large high elbow but only a near fall. Ziggler took the knee out from under Kofi, then went back to a modified sleeper working on the neck of Kofi.  Kofi then somehow managed to get a rolling -almost sideways grapevine but only got a two count Ziggler then planted Kofi face first with a front slam but still only a two count. Ziggler went back to his rear chin lock-sleeper. Kofi used a jawbreaker to get out of the move, Ziggler hitting the top turnbuckle, Kofi then going for aerial moves, before landing his boom drop. Ziggler went back to his sleeper hold, but Kofi stumbled to the ropes breaking the hold. Kofi nailed his trouble in paradise for the win.

Christian vs Cody Rhodes. First Round in the Intercontinental championship tournament.  Rhodes started with a go behind pounding hard on the upper back of Christian before turning it into a side head lock. Christian was going off the ropes but Rhodes caught him with a hard shoulder block  he only got a near fall. Rhodes then used a kick and a punch combo getting Christian down to the mat. Christian got back to his feet, leap frogging over Rhodes and delivering a flying cross body from a standing position but it only got him a two count. Christian then had Rhodes hung up on the second rope, standing on him before tossing Rhodes out of the ring, baseball slide then sending Rhodes into the rails. Christian chased Rhodes outside of the ring only to get thrown down hard into the stairs. Back in the ring, and Rhodes had Christian in the corner working now on the back. Christian managed to get out and used a second rope spring board for a roll up but only got a near fall. Hard slap to Rhodes face but Christian was sent hard into the corner, then got a drop kick in the back from Rhodes sending Christian bouncing chest first on the bottom rope. Rhodes had Christian up in what looked like a suplex, but became a slam. Rhodes then slapped on a submission move in the middle of the ring.  Christian battled back to his feet but was stumbling around because of Rhodes with hard punches.  Both men on top of the ropes, superplex by Rhodes on Christian. Christian got in a roll up but only a two count. Both men out of the ring, Rhodes using the stairs for a power kick on Christian, back in the ring but Rhodes only got a near fall. Rhodes was going for a top rope move but Christian caught him mid air. Christian turned it around in his favour with a series of kicks and forearms, then used the second rope as a swing to slid out of the way of Rhodes, catching him flush in the mouth with a double boot.  Only got a near fall for Christian. Rhodes once again was hung out to dry on the second rope with Christian standing on him before jumping down for his power slap.  Christian to the top rope for a cross body, but Rhodes rolled out of the way. Both men went for their finishing moves but both blocked them. Rhodes went to the top turnbuckle with a moonsault but still only got a two count. Rhodes was tossed into the ring post, Christian then slapped on his killswitch for the win.

Jack Swagger vs Kane.  Swagger started with a go behind trying to slap a bear hug on him, but Kane used a back elbow to break the hold easily. Swagger then went at Kane in what looked like a spear but Kane caught him as they tumbled to the mat each trying to get the advantage over the other. Kane shocked Swagger with his knowledge of amateur wrestling holds.  Then the Big Show came out to the ring, causing a distraction. Swagger then proceeded to pound on Kane backing him into the corner. Kane came back with an upper cut, and got Swagger into the corner with a series of right hands before using a low drop kick on him. Only got him a near fall. Swagger tried to take out the knee of Kane, but to no effect. He then applied a front face lock getting Kane down on the mat. Back up to his feet, and Kane hung Swagger on the top rope delivering an upper cut.  Swagger fought back then went for a top rope move, Kane catching him in mid air. Both men stumbling. Kane with a series of clotheslines then smashing Swagger in the corner before adding a sidewalk slam. Kane off the top rope, setting up for his choke slam, but Swagger managed to get Kane into the corner repeatingly sending him ribs first to an exposed turnbuckle. The ref called the match because of the cheated turnbuckle. Kane won because of a dq.

    Raw for May 3rd 2010

We open with Batista whining. And thank god for Sheamus! He came out looking fabulous, I have got to get me a Sheamus ...er um ... tee-shirt Then the Miz came to the ring. Miz was suppose to have a match against Batista but bailed, saying his jaw is messed up... Really? whoa with all that talking no wonder your jaw hurts bud.

Batista vs Daniel Bryan. This is a Beat the Clock match. Batista started with a kick to the midsection of Bryan, going for his Batista-bomb, but Bryan countered by sliding down his back for a roll up, and drop toe hold into an ankle lock. Batista kicked out though then rolled out of the ring. Getting back into the ring, Batista picked up Bryan and shoved him into the corner with a series of shoulder blocks. He then stepped on Bryan's neck, but Bryan got a sleeper hold on Batista. Batista countered with a running kick, only got a two count. He whipped Bryan into the corner twice before Bryan got a kick to the face and a front sleeper hold. Batista tossed him out of the ring slamming him back first into the ring. Rolled him back into the ring with a clothesline that flipped Bryan in a full circle. And still only got a two count. Bryan fought back with a series of forearms to the jaw of Batista, and a kick to the skull. Batista answered with a kick of his own, going for a cover but only a near fall. Bryan started to work on the shoulder and then locked on a armbar submission, but Batista used the rope to brake the hold. Batista kicked him in the knee knocking him down then used a spear setting up for the Batista-bomb for the win. 5 minutes and 6 seconds on the clock as the time to beat.

Ted DiBiase vs John Morrison. DiBiase started with a kick to the gut of Morrison and a hard forearm to the back. Morrison down on the mat. DiBiase went for a clothesline but Morrison used a baseball slide to fake him out, then his scissors kick sending DiBiase down to the mat. DiBiase got to the ropes, but Morrison knocked him out of the ring. Morrison followed with a spring board triple rolling suicide dive (say that five times fast) both men down outside the ring. Morrison got back in the ring, DiBiase let himself be counted out. Morrison grabbed the microphone and demanded a restart. DiBiase was walking away but Morrison added the bid that if Morrison looses the restarted match, he will be the Personal Assistant (the Virgil) for DiBiase. The match restarted and DiBiase had Morrison down in the middle of the mat in a leg scissors submission. Morrison battled out with a few back elbows, but DiBiase caught him with a knee to the stomach flipping Morrison over. Only got a two count. DiBiase then got him up on the ropes in a modified suplex then went for another cover only a near fall. DiBiase continued to have control of the match for the next few minutes with hard right hands to Morrison. Morrison managed to get the match back in his favour with one of his kicks to the jaw. Both men down. Back to their feet and Morrison came at him with a few short clotheslines, going to the second rope for a moonsault only DiBiase knocked the legs out from under Morrison sending him crashing to the mat. DiBiase then went for his finisher, but Morrison countered with a back roll but walked right into a scoop slam from DiBiase. Only a two count. Morrison with a few punches, but turned around and got a short clothesline, still only a near fall. DiBiase went for dreamstreet again, but Morrison used the ropes to his advantage rolling DiBiase up in a modified acid-drop for the win.

Jon Cena vs Wade Barrett. They started with a collar tie up, which Cena turned into a quick side headlock take down. Back up to their feet and Cena still has a head lock on him which he held on to for the next few minutes before taking the legs out from under Barrett. Back to a side headlock on Barrett, then Cena used an under arm slide to lock on a full nelson. It looked like Barrett had countered but he ended up being taken down to the mat once again with a shoulder roll. Cena got a two count. Cena got him up on his shoulders for his finisher but tossed him out of the ring ontop of Jericho who had been standing out side. Cena was then thrown into the announce booth face first. Back in the ring, Barrett was pounding on Cena with fist after fist before sending Cena from one corner to the other. He followed this with a clothesline but only got the two count. He then put Cena into a submission hold, but Cena managed to power out. Cena went off the ropes only to get a shoulder block taking him down. Barrett followed up with a backbreaker on Cena. He continued to work on the lower back of Cena, but Cena managed to once again turn it around and slapped his SFU on for a tap out win. Cena is the time to beat at 4 minutes and 30 seconds.
Sheamus came down and punted him.

Divas match .... Maryse vs Nikki Bella... I don't care. Maryse won with her DDT.

Zakk Ryder vs Mark Henry. Ryder went for a single leg take down but was swatted away easily. Henry then slammed a hard fist into the upper back of Ryder following it with a couple of body slams. Ryder then took out the left leg of Henry with a drop kick. He used his roughryder but only got a two count. Henry picked him up shoving him into the corner before delivering a headbutt. Henry sent him off the ropes into a clothesline. Ryder then tried a simple punch but was stopped mid move as Henry once again used a slam on him for the win.

The Hart Dynasty vs William Regal/Vladimair Kozlov. Kidd and Regal started it off, with a collar tie up. Regal quickly got it in his favour with a punch and a flip, never once letting go of Kidd's arm. He then tossed Kidd into the corner, but Kidd fought back with a back elbow and a stiff kick. Kozlov ripped Kidd down from the top rope sending him to the floor. Back in the ring, and Regal was working on the now injured arm of Kidd with a series of knees to the shoulder grinding the shoulder to the mat. Kozlov tagged in going right for the arm of Kidd with a hard boot. Kozlov used a series of headbutts to keep Kidd from reaching his corner. Kozlov then picked up Kidd in a hammerlock chickenwing, tossing him overhead. Regal tagged back in, stomping on Kidd. He got Kidd in another chickenwing move, before Kidd rolled out. Smith tagged in with a large shoulder block to Regal. Regal came back with a heavy boot to the stomach of Smith. Smith managed to slap on the sharpshooter for the win.
